6 to 10 Grill & Nasi Lemak @ Section 17 PJ

Sayang one day popped up with this idea of going to try eat something called PJ Paramount's Pan Mee. She was saying, whoa damn good la, when she was studying that time she enjoyed every piece of pan mee, that stall served . But before we could make our way to that Pan Mee stall, we actually ended up at 6 to 10, in Seksyen 17 PJ.

It was believed to be one of those more happening places to eat in PJ for many years now. Slowly earning a reputation of dishing out good nasi lemak , and superb tasting western grilled dishes at NO Frill prices.

So its just very common that for our first time here, we ordered their signature dishes. Nasi Lemak with Chicken Curry Rendang, and their Red Wine Pork Rib Special. This actually reminded me that this was actually part of our "You Got Ribs, We want to Try" trip.

We found their ribs to be quite tender and tastily done. I mean its unfair to say its the best pork ribs in town. You can taste the fruity remnant of the red wine as you sink your into the ribs. A bit fatty but which rib isn't ? The pic above a little bit oof, sorry !! Was too hungry to keep my hands steady, lol ...

After so many trips , we still gave to kao tao to Tony Roma's ribs which we tried in Sydney. That has thus far, set the benchmark for us to compare with. Also to be very subjective, it is also up to the individual taste as to how you like your ribs done ? smoky, sweetish, fruity.. tender, roasted or stewed .... There is really a very fine line between good, very good and great.

oh ya hor the price. It starts at about Rm6 - Rm12 depending the dishes you can add. They have a stall in the restaurant for Nasi Lemak only which looks like a Chap Fan Stall. You can go choose the dishes. All of them looks very tasty ... have to go back a second and third time to try them all out...

RIBS - about 20 bucks
got steak also if remember correctly its about 25 - 40 bucks... (agak - agak lor), not very pricey..

lemongrass - oh ya , warning for you though, they charge corkage there. However so, not sure if they actually sell wine. Eh the nasi lemak is always the failsafe for most eateries what... lol !!

6 to 10 is a must try place, no matter what anyone says about this place..

Koala - planning to return to Ubud with more time spent there as compared with our last trip. Will spend less time in Kuta the next time... :D
